PrattRules
This is a short survival horror game set on Pratt’s campus. You must follow a series of strange rules, make choices, and escape the red shadow to survive four nights. I’d love feedback on whether the choices feel meaningful and the final chase feels tense. Content warning: horror themes, implied death, and time pressure.

Great work! I think it's interesting to go through the game and realize that the rules might not help you -- each time I played, I reconsidered whether or not I should actually follow the rules. This is an interesting choice for the player to have to make! I survived once, god bless
Hi Xiaoyan, I think the horror aspect of this game is super intriguing and entertaining, especially the whole rule set thing that you see in those Reddit videos. The choices themselves didn't feel like they held too much value as there were only 2 options per day and the rules already spelled out what to do, but I did enjoy when it defied my expectations and something would happen even when I followed the rules. Overall it is simple and to the point which is nice, but it did feel like it was missing something. I liked the idea that the people around you could be fake or try to kill you, using my imagination was a fun part of this. I think for next time, try using some of the different aspects of twine rather than just a simple pathway, but overall it was really good!
I really enjoyed the narrative and the different choices that this game has to offer. The rules did help in some certain choices but even though we did follow the rules, I did somehow manage got killed or captured. Regardless, I quite enjoyed playing this game and the different endings this game has to offer.
most unrealistic thing is the food being safe. if this is pratt the food should kill u instantly (i jest)
this was super fun. why did my ra grab my ankle bro </3
im gonna keep playing this will update once i actually manage to survive
update i finally won lets goooo
i do think the luck mechanic screwed me over a little but it def added to the game...sometimes u will just die even if u do what u should! that's really cool :) nice game!
I found it very interesting that sometimes even following the rules can randomly get you killed! The randomness of it adds to the playability and it makes me want to go back in and see what the rest of the endings are!
Feels like actually living at Pratt, well at least the food is still edible. Reflected some personal emotions I guess, like Silent Hill. I'm expecting a bit more possibilities and conditions, but I guess 200 words limit cuts that down a lot. To increase the tension of the story, you can maybe think about adding some questions that won't kill the player, but you know, scare the players.
This is exactly what it feels like to be a student at Pratt Institute. My favorite part of this was the eating on day 4, the choice to either walk away or keep eating did feel like a meaningful one. It reminded me of little nightmares kinda if you know that game (it's really cool I promise). I think the final chase could've been a bit more tense with some more build-up and suspense if you haven't hit the word limit yet. Other than that it was very spooky and relatable and I enjoyed it a lot :)
Interesting combine of strange talks and school lives. I think the random results are too luck-based and reduces the playability.
